Can't get rid of that summer FEELING.....

I'm currently in So-Cal without a computer since that piece of shit died when I was up at my house in Geilo a couple days before I got on the flight out here. That's why the blog's been quiet and no updates have been made...

Anyways, I'm going to try to get a Mac tomorrow, if all goes well... I Currently do not have a cell phone either, since that dropped out of my hand and into the toilet I was taking a pee inn down in San Diego on Thursday. GOD I wish I had a photo of the iPhone in the toilet! I was trying to figure out if I was going to just flush it down or if I was going to pick it back up. After having to make that horrible decision, I figured I needed the sim card that was inside my phone, so.... You can guess the rest. It wasn't fun.

Here's a quick thing from another night out in San Diego. Me and my brother went to the ASR tradeshow down there to meet up with the brands we ride for, and to attend various movie premiere's for snowboard, surf and skate movies...
Enjoy:

I almost forgot...

So yeah. I almost forgot to tell you the mouse story from Greece. It's kinda funny and kinda sad at the same time (sad for those of you who think mice are cute).
We decided one night to just chill and not go out. We ended up watching a movie in our room. Me, Arvid and Christopher. Martin was on vacation, and decided to do a little solo mission out in the Rhodos nightlife.
Anyways, we were sitting there watching the movie, and all of a sudden I see a little something come out of a crack in the corner of our room. I pause the movie and tell my dude's there's a mouse in the corner, and the mouse all of a sudden stands all still. Bad move from the mouse. After staring at the mouse for about 10 seconds, we see a Snus box fly through the air (Snus is kinda like chew for you americans, just not as messy and you don't have to spit to often). Miraculessly the box hits the mouse and it get's squashed between the wall and the box. We all started laughing pretty hard and started talking about the odd's hitting the mouse and even killing it... The box was even empty and weighed almost nothing. Christopher had a pretty good throw!!
Here's the proof:

I guess we sent out a message to the rest of the mice in the hotel, since we didn't see anymore for the rest of the stay. And also I squirted a bunch of After sun lotion in all the cracks in our room, hoping it would work as poison in case there were more...

Today

Today I got a pretty crazy heatstroke down here in Greece. I was barely able to make it to the doctor's office, but god damn was I glad I did. She gave me two shots in the ass and I started feeling better right away. It's 2 days before I leave to go back home to NOrway and the doctor told me I can't be in the sun between 12-3 during the day, so that basically sucks.
After youtubing my evening away with water and a little bit of snacks, I came across this music video. It's Kanye West's new video for the song Champion and it's pretty sick.
I had a good laugh watching it anyways....

So, I found out on Friday, 3 of my friends booked a ticket for me to Greece (Rhodos). And we had to leave on Wednesday the 13th (Today). I'm in Greece now, and so far so GOOD!
IT's dope, the weather is insane, and a perfect get away vacation before the winter season sets in.
Stay tuned. Pictures will be hitting the Blog soon.

PS I Love You

I just watched the movie "PS I Love You" and I seriously cried 5 times...
I haven't had a cry for a loooong time, so I guess it was a healthy cry. At least that's what I like to think it was and nothing else.
But anyways, the movie stars with Hilary Swank and that Gnarly Sparta'n King from 300 (Gerard Butler).
I recommend it to anyone who needs a cry, someone who wants to make out with a chick (Or guy, in my case a chick since i'm a dude and i'm not gay), or if you just want a good ol' fashioned chick flick.
P.S. You will be able to make out because she will be feeling sooo comfortable with you watching that flick that it's inevitable!!!
Here's a link to the movie's trailer, it's the best I can do:

Now, go out and rent, buy or download it. I don't recommend for anyone to download movies, but i'm not naiv either and I know people will in this day and age.

Stolzen

Yesterday I drove my dad to the Airport at 9am since he had to go to Stockholm for a couple of days (he works there for SAS)(SAS = Scandinavian Airlines).
And on the drive back I figured out I wanted to do StoltzeKleiven, since I hadn't done it in a couple of weeks.
Stoltzekleiven is a path of steps that go all the way up Sandviksfjellet, which is a little mountain right behind where I live in Bergen.

It's 313,5 meters to the top, or 1028 feet for all of you who don't understand the actual right way of calculating things. Anyways, every step is differen't since the steps are basically a bunch of rocks, and in all there are 801 steps to the top

I almost passed out when I was close to the top, and on top of that I got passed by 2 chicks! I felt so gay at the time. Who get's passed by 2 girls? seriously.
But anyways, I got to the top, and I have to say, I live the the sickest town ever.... I've been traveling since I was yeey high, and i've never seen a place as sick as Bergen. BUT, only if it's sunny...

They have a annual race up Stoltzekleiven every year sometime in September, and the record up for dudes is 8minutes and 13 seconds. GOOD LUCK if your going to try to beat that sucker.
Today my legs hurt like hell and and i'm inside on the couch watching Olympics. GO NORWAY!

Another Ringtone on my iPhone?

So, after having an iphone for a little over a half a year, I finally decided to change my ringtone from the standard ringtone's that come with the phone. Apple hasn't really been the best company to help people change their ringtone's unless you want to buy ringtone's from their iTunes. Why the hell would I buy ringtone's when I already have an iTunes library with a ridiculous amount of songs in it. Of course, thanks to Apple, you can't just drag the songs into the ringtone library, you have to do some modifications to the songs before they want to go in there...
After about 10-15 minutes on the internet, I found a pretty helpful method that helped. It goes as follows:

However this does not apply to the songs you donwloaded via itunes. If you get the tracks from other sites or ripped from your CDs this will work like magic.

1) Pick your song you want to turn into a ringtone in iTunes.

2) Right click>Get Info or File>Get Info or Apple>I.

3) Go to Options when the Get Info window opens.

4) Click the check boxes to initiate Start and Stop time, manually entering the start and finish time of the song you want as a ringtone.

5) Now, hit Okay.

6) Next, go to Advanced>Convert Selection to AAC, this will create a copy of the song, but just the portion you want as a ringtone. If it says "convert to mp3" isntead, just go to preferences to change it to AAC and you'll be fine.

7) The copy will be right under the original in iTunes, you will see the difference in times with the selection you chose should be at a ringtone length, like :30 seconds or so. Right-click on the selection and choose Show in Finder, or File>Show in Finder, it should be an m4a file.

8) Simply click on the file name to edit it and change it to an m4r, this will change it into a ringtone to be recognized by iTunes.

9) Go back to iTunes, find the short selection of the song that you converted to a ringtone and drag it out of iTunes to your desktop.

10) It will make a copy of it and it should now be in your iTunes and desktop. Then, back in iTunes, delete the selection you just moved to the desktop.

11) Double-click on the file you dragged to your desktop and it should open up and play in the "Ringtones" section of your iTunes.

12) Sync.

So a big thanks to the person who posted this method, and a Big FUCK YOU to Apple, who want people to buy their ringtone's. Ok, I get your trying to run a business, but seriously, I don't want to buy one song from iTunes, and then have to buy it again to have it as my ringtone...

Photo's from Folgefonna with the Actionhorses

Here are some photo's from the last couple trips i've had to Folgefonna with the Actionhorse crew, besides going there for the nightshoot with Frode Sandbech.
I've stolen some pictures from friends who were there who had their own camera, since I only use my iPhone these days, after my brand new Lumix got stolen at this years SuperPark in Mammoth in May.... (I hope the person who stole my shit dies)

Waiting for the Ferry to get to Jondal aka the base before Folgefonna

Folgefonna is the dopest place in Scandinavia if you want some summer shredding and minimal liftline's.

Next mission, try to enjoy the Norwegian summer rolling through the next couple of days.
