Folgefonna 21st of July

So me and my brother woke up at 06.am the next day after the Brann match, drove into Bergen (Only 5 minutes) and picked up our Friend Oddvar. Drove another 20 minutes a little south of Bergen to where Oddvar has a little boat floating around and started loading it up to leave to a place called Austevoll, which is outside of Bergen where you can either take a Ferry or a little boat like we did to get too.

We had to go there to pick the main boat we were going to take all the way into Jondal, which is at the base of Folgefonna. And for those of you who aren't following me, YES, we took a boat to go snowboarding instead of driving there. That's the beauty of summer time when you can actually do these things!!

And so we made it to Jondal and had a little struggle getting up to the Glacier because we missed the buses that go up there by a half an hour. But it all worked out pretty well.
We got a ride from a nice local man, and we met up with Emil Fossheim, who is an awesome guy, and he builds the park up there. We snowboarded for a couple of hours and then decided to build pretty sweet jump to have ready for a nightsession. For the record, Folgefonna has the dopest sunsets right after Chile.
The jump was finished and we hooked up with the boys who were to main reason why we came to Folgefonna. The dudes were Frode Sandbech( one of the sickest photogs out there) and fellow teammates on 32/Etnies, Danny Larsen (Look him up in the pirate movie productions) And Frode's little brother Staale Sandbech (Check him at www.thirtywo.com)
We had an epic sunset session, but you won't see any of those photo's yet.........

The next morning we went for a little diving session of the boat we slept in and then left since the weather got a little crappy overnight.

We left right after the diving session to go back to Austevoll, and change boats to go back to Bergen. But when we got back to Austevoll we came across this bad boy>>>

And had to take it for a little rip.....

70 miles an hour I might have to add.

Stay tuned for some pictures from and earlier trip to Folgefonna in the beginning of July I had with the Actionhorse crew.....
Check out www.actionhorsefilms.com for more info on that project

Bye for now
